WIGP seeks Greens for open seats on statewide committees

WIGP_logo_small.gifIn our ongoing reorganization, the Wisconsin Green Party still has open seats on our main decision-making body, the Coordinating Council, as well as the newly-formed Elections, Outreach and Platform Committees and the Stop Mining Working Group.

This is your party, and it needs your energy to move forward - read on for more information about how to get involved!

Coordinating Council - The WIGP Coordinating Council is the main decision-making body of the state party, charged with carrying out the will of party members as decided at membership meetings. See this post for more information on the Coordinating Council and open positions.

Elections Committee - The Elections Committee is responsible for preparing the party for elections, including candidate recruitment, strategic election planning, ballot access, and campaign skill development.

Outreach Committee - The Outreach Committee is responsible for promoting the party's message and recruiting members, including media engagement, grassroots outreach coordination, and engaging with local parties.

Platform Committee - The Platform Committee is responsible for maintaining and updating the state party's platform.

Stop Mining Working Group - The Stop Mining Working Group is responsible for creating a strategy for the state party to respond to the issue of mining development in Wisconsin.
