Greater Milwaukee Green Party Meeting

Join the Greater Milwaukee Green Party as we organize to bring Green values of grassroots democracy, social justice, nonviolence, and ecological wisdom to our community. We will discuss how Greens can make an impact in upcoming local elections and ongoing issue campaigns, and brainstorm ways to grow a sustainable progressive alternative to big-money politics as usual.

Whether you’re already Green or just interested in learning more, all are welcome!

Base Issue – The vote counting process needs to be secure -
    CORRECT, SECURE VOTE COUNTING NEEDED
Even though we see our ballot counter increase by 1 when we feed our ballot, we have no way of knowing if every 10th vote is flipped.
There is no display of our preferences. Either on paper like a cash register rcpt or a secure screen display.
North Carolina has such a system.
During early voting, with cash register like rolls, at least two such instances were spotted by voters, flipping votes from Sen Kay Hagan.
In WI we do not have any systems like this.
